INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
Project 1 - Integrating automation into Pixel Retail creative tech workflows.
Throughout my summer, my primary project involved working with technical program management for Google’s Devices Localization team. I became the touchpoint and relationship builder between localization program and project managers, creative agencies and Retail leadership at Google. I had three primary objectives in this project:
- Audit the current creative tech offerings and workflows for Pixel localization to identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
- Research and propose new tools, processes and workflows to create a new, efficient localization process
- Build out strategies for incorporating new tools and workflows over time
After completing my audit and conducting intense research on internal and external technologies and strategies for improvement, I drafted nine potential workflow catalysts from the beginning copywriting stages, to delivery of assets and communication with external agencies, to design QA.
I further dissected each section of the Pixel localization process and created communication assets to increase visibility and understanding of the process within the team, for external agencies, and for Retail leadership. Using Gemini Canvas, I prototyped and deployed a project management automation tool, teaching the Localization Project Management team best practices for use.
I then outlined timelines and POCs for implementing my suggested workflow catalysts, and presented my findings to other teams within Google’s Strategy and Operations division to determine efficacy of the strategies at scale.
Project 2 - Bringing conversational image segmentation to developers.
During my primary project, I was able to contribute to the launch of Gemini 2.5 on the Developer Marketing side. I co-supervised the creation and branding of the featured component of Gemini, conversational image segmentation, ensuring the use of images, suggested copy, design elements and naming aligned with the Gemini brand and stood out from competitors. After a quick turnaround from the team of marketers, product managers and engineers, we launched a blog announcing conversational image segmentation on Google for Developers and launched a subsequent social campaign through key voices in Gemini marketing (Logan Kilpatrick, Rohan Doshi etc.).
