Energizing the WBD Brand through design for Global Early Talent programs.

THE WBD BRAND
Balancing dozens of prestige brands with future-forward design.
The WBD brand is designed to be limitless, incorporating a full spectrum of color paired with a unique sans serif font for a distinct look.In my first weeks as an intern at WBD, I learned from my supervisor, Early Talent recruiters and designers about what being limitless looks like for the Early Talent brand and experience, using these insights to experiment with the existing color, type and composition choices of our team.
Incorporating gradients to expand the limitless brand.
I chose saturated gradients based on existing colors in the WBD guidelines to bring the energy we were looking for in Global Early Talent, tying into the limitless aspect of the larger WBD.Using this gradient scheme as a visual motif, I built out and localized evergreen templates and GIFs for use among recruiters and early talent.
Being able to build out and incorporate this motif was a crucial lesson in establishing best design practices for design features and considerations for accessibility, such as color contrast/combinations and font sizing.

After accepting an extended offer to keep working with the Global Early Talent Team, I incorporated more evergreen templates and produced creative digital assets and life-sized prints.At the same time, I created a proposal for a new set of IP-infused creative assets (GIFs, email signatures, one-pager templates etc.) for interns, apprentices and early talent at WBD to use.
